Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using GoGeter (the "Platform") — through our website, mobile experience or any associated services — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and GoGeter. We may post additional rules for specific features (for example, a code of conduct for reviews); those rules become part of these Terms when posted.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By signing up you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you have the authority to bind any business you represent.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for every action taken from your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or close accounts that appear compromised, fraudulent or used in breach of these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You will not:
- misrepresent yourself, your business, your services or your qualifications;
- upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or that infringes another person's rights;
- interfere with or attempt to circumvent the Platform's security, rate limits or technical safeguards;
- scrape, mirror or otherwise copy the Platform's data, except as expressly permitted;
- use the Platform to send spam, unsolicited offers or to phish other users.
Breach of this section may result in immediate suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
Listings and business profiles
Businesses may publish profiles, listings, services and prices on the Platform. By publishing, you represent that the information is accurate, current and not misleading; that you hold any licences or insurance you describe; and that you have the right to offer the services advertised.
We may review, edit or remove listings that we reasonably believe breach these Terms, applicable law or community standards. We do not warrant or endorse any listing, and the existence of a listing is not a recommendation by GoGeter.
Bookings, payments and refunds
When a customer books or enquires through the Platform, the resulting contract is between the customer and the business. GoGeter facilitates the introduction but is not a party to the work or any payment for it.
Where we collect platform fees, payment-processing fees or deposits on behalf of a business, the amount and the refund rules are shown to the customer before payment. Refunds for the underlying service are the responsibility of the business that performed (or was contracted to perform) the work, in line with that business's published policy or applicable consumer-protection law.
User content and reviews
You retain ownership of the content you submit — listings, photos, reviews, replies and so on. You grant GoGeter a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), display and distribute that content as needed to operate, promote and improve the Platform.
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. Don't post reviews of your own business, a competitor or in exchange for an incentive. We may remove reviews that appear fake, defamatory or off-topic.
Intellectual property
The Platform itself — including its software, design, logos, trademarks and editorial content — is owned by GoGeter or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, please send a notice to legal@gogeter.com with enough detail to identify the work and the allegedly infringing material.
Privacy
Your privacy matters. How we collect, use and share personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform you consent to that handling.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoGeter disclaims all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free from harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoGeter will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any direct loss is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
Termination
You may close your account at any time from the account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe continued access creates risk for other users or the Platform. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — to reflect new features, legal requirements or operational changes. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, give reasonable notice (for example, by email or an in-app banner). Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GoGeter is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for any dispute that cannot be resolved informally, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your home jurisdiction.
